Blessed
Two great occasions blessed by Allah swt:
The month has been a mesmerising one, especially because my Bruneian friend Zeah@Hazeah has got married with her prince charming, amiin! Barakallahu lakuma wabaraka 'alaikuma wajama'a bainakuma fii khair...~lots of wedding photos uploaded on facebook by Arni and Nurul Adri,and so happy to see the occassions of akad nikah, majlis berbedak, majlis bersanding and malam berambil-ambilan went well,as Arni said four occasions in three days!The newly married couple looked stunning, and undoubtedly cahaya kebahagiaan sungguh terpancar di wajah mempelai..alhamdulillah...semoga berkekalan ikatan cinta hingga ke syurga, amiin...
Last week Mahadi n Elly have alhamdulillah, become the parents of beautiful Bushra..the baby girl is so cute seeing the photos that Mahadi posted on facebook...may Allah guide them to become the exemplary parents and may Bushra be a solehah muslimah amiin...
My my, syukur to Allah for the kun fayakun..
On a separate note, K Nur and I had learned something yesterday: the power of kun fayakun..see, if Allah intends for a thing to happen, it will happen, whether good or bad, all is from Him. Isn't it stated in the Qur'an 36:82 Verily, when he intends a thing, His Command is "Be", and it is.
Isn't it?

Niece
My niece Feeqa @Siti Rafeeqa Rosli has alhamdulillah scored 9As in her SPM result today. A blessed result of 9As insya-Allah. The good news of the day and I am smiling all day. A proof that every effort counts and every prayer is heard indeed.May Allah ease her path and bless her with success in this world and the Next, amiin.
Girly in person, but undoubtedly ambitious,hardworking and resilient.N the future Malaysian Governor of Bank Negara insya-Allah:)

The reality strikes
Salam,
It was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that women will form the majority of the people of Hell. It was narrated from ‘Imraan ibn Husayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I looked into Paradise and I saw that the majority of its people were the poor. And I looked into Hell and I saw that the majority of its people are women.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3241; Muslim, 2737)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about it and he explained the reason.
It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I was shown Hell and I have never seen anything more terrifying than it. And I saw that the majority of its people are women.” They said, “Why, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “Because of their ingratitude (kufr).” It was said, “Are they ungrateful to Allaah?” He said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1052)
Naudzubillahi min dzalik..what a reminder. The issues on women entail more discussion and insya-Allah this week my entries would revolve around the common theme 'Women'. Ma'assalaamah for now.

Citing a psychological view, living a happy life is a fine art entailing 10 things:
1. Do something you love, whether work or hobby
2. Be physically healthy as it is the spirit of happiness-eati, drink , exercise regularly and avoid bad habits!
3. have a goal in life as goal gives you motivation and energy
4. Take life as it comes, and accept the bitter and the sweet
5. Live in the present, with no regrets of the past and no anxiety for tomorrow that has not come yet
6. Think hard of any action or decision and do not blame anyone else for your decision or its consequences
7.Be grateful
8.Make smile a habit, be cheerful, be in company with the optimistic people
9.Strive to make others happy and you will be happy
10.Make the most of occassions of happiness and joy, and regard them as necessary to renew your own happiness.
Reminder:
Allah burdens not a soul except [with that within] its capacity... (2: 286)

How did Prophet Muhammad look like?
Salam,
His Physical Appearance
Among the attractive points written by Imam Ibn Kathir in his book of 'Prophet Muhammad's Biography' was the compilation of narrations of the physical appearance of our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.:
Sheikh Abu Zakariyya An-Nawawi summed up in his Tadhhib that the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was neither tall nor short; neither white nor dark; and his hair was neither curl nor long and flowing. He died with not even twenty white hairs on his head.
He had a good-looking body, a thick beard, a big head, a round face, black eyes and long eyelashes. His shoulders and arms were hairy, and so was the upper chest.
He had a seal of prophethood between his shoulders. He walked strongly and firmly and the ground would seem as if being folded for him. He sometimes lower the hair of his head then he would part it at some other time. He used to comb it along with his beard. The precious and dearest of clothes to him were his shirts, and the white ones.
It has also been narrated by Al-Bukhari on the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said:
I have never touched silk or dibaj [thick silk] sfter than the palm of the Prophet nor have I smelt a perfume nicer than the sweat of the Prophet.
I served the Messenger of Allah for ten years, and, by Allah, he never said to me any harsh word, and he never said to me about a thing as to why I had done that and as to why I had not done that.
His Pure Character
Allah has indeed described the Prophet as an exalted standard of character (Al-Qalam: 4).It is also narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim that Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet's character was that he was totally keen to act only according to the instructions of the Qur'an, by complying exactly with its ordinances and forbiddances. This point is also emphasized in the Qur'an (al-Isra':9).
-His morals reflected the greatest and most honourable character
-He was the bravest of people when a war grew fierce
-He was the most knowledgeable among people, the most eloquent and the best advisor
-He was the humblest of people, yet with GRAVITY and DIGNITY; it was stated by Ibnu Kathir that when Prophet entered Makkah on the Day of Conquest he kept lowering his head out of humbleness to the extent that his beard nearly touched the forepart of his saddle.
-He was shyer than a virgin in her separate room (as described by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri in Sahih al-Bukhari) yet firm in exercising Allah's ordinances.
Allah praised the Prophet and his Sahabah
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe
against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves (al-Fath:29)
Allahumma solli ala sayyidina Muhammad wa 'ala ali sayyidina Muhammad.
Lucky sahabah and the solihins who got to meet with him, face to face!
But remember, to this day we have his Sunnah, and that indeed, is one of the two powerful mukjizats after the Furqan they both last till the day of Qiyamah.
May Allah lead us to Jannah. Amiin.
